Replacement Dust Collection Filtration Bags
A dust collector’s bags are the most important part of any dust collection system. It is the dust collector’s bags that clean the pollution and air borne contaminants form the air leaving it safe to return to the atmosphere or manufacturing facility. Precision Industrial offers replacement filter bags for most dust collectors. We have many different types of filter media available to suit specific applications.
Filter bag medias include:
- Woven Knit Pile Loop Polyester Material, best for fibrous waist, extremely durable and with patented grounding strip for anti-static applications.
- Polyester Needle Felt (NF) Material with singed dust collection surface. Durable media with excellent strength for high grain loading applications.
- Polypropylene NF Material. Used for applications where chemically resistance is required.
- Polyphenyl Sulphide felt material. Used for applications where high temperature and chemical resistance are required. Typical applications include refuse incinerators, power plant furnaces, industrial stoves and coal furnaces.
- Aromatic Aramid Nomex® felt. Used for applications where high temperatures are present. Typical applications include asphalt flue gas, steel plant blast-furnace gas, carbon black exhaust gas, electrical furnace flue gas and cement Kiln gas.
Replacement Dust Collection Cartridge Filters
A dust collector’s cartridges are the most important part of any dust collection system. It is the dust collector’s cartridges that clean the pollution and air borne contaminants form the air leaving it safe to return to the atmosphere or manufacturing facility. Precision Industrial offers FARR HemiPleat® replacement cartridges for most dust collectors. HemiPleat® dust collector filters collect more dust, pulse better, last longer and save money. No matter which dust collector you have, the HemiPleat filter can improve its performance.
There are many different types of filter media available to suit specific applications.
Cartridge medias include:
HMPTS – PolyTech™ Standard (color: green) – MERV 10/11 Proprietary blend of cellulosic fibers and polyester fibers with a moisture resistant silicone treatment for optimum dust release characteristics yielding long service life at high filtration efficiencies.
HMPTC – PolyTech™ Conductive (color: black) – MERV 10/11 Base HMPTS media described above, chemically treated and impregnated with carbon for static dissipation.
HMPTF – PolyTech™ Flame Retardant (color: off white with yellow stripes) – MERV 10/11 Base HMPTS media described above, chemically treated with a fire retardant.
HMPTU – PolyTech™ Ultra High Efficiency (color: white/green) – MERV 15/16 Base HMPTS media with a microfiber synthetic melt blown surface laminate that yields the industry’s highest filtration effiency possible at 99.999% on 0.5 micron and larger particles by weight.
HMPTUF – PolyTech™ Flame Retardant Ultra High Efficiency (color: white/off white media) – MERV 15/16 Base HMPTF fire retardant media described above with a microfiber synthetic melt blown surface laminate that yields the industry’s highest filtration effiency possible at 99.999% on 0.5 micron and larger particles by weight.
HMPTNFR – HemiPleat Nano FR (Color: white) – MERV 14/15 Base HMPTF flame retardant media with a microporous nanofiber coating. The nanofiber coating is applied to the upstream side of the filter for higher filtration efficiencies and improved dust release which makes this new material far superior to any other commercial filter media available.
HMPTNST – HemiPleat Nano (Color: white/green) – MERV 14/15 Base HMPTS moisture resistant silicone treated media with a microporous nanofiber coating. The nanofiber coating is applied to the upstream side of the filter for higher filtration efficiencies and improved dust release which makes this new material far superior to any other commercial filter media available.

Types of Dust Collector Valves
Diaphragm Valves SolenoidsDiaphragm Valve – A compressed air valve operated by a solenoid valve that opens to allow a pulse to a row of bags.
Solenoid Valve – An electromechanical plunger device that is either “normally open” or “normally closed”. In use with a baghouse, it is for the relief of air pressure to activate a compressed air device such as a diaphragm valve.
