Extraction arms for welding & cutting fume removal
KUA is the extraction arm of choice and comes in various models. It is a flexible extraction arm for fume, gases and oil mist contaminants. Unique to the KUA is the combination of inner and outer arms of smooth aluminum tubing connected by our unique middle joint. The external easy-to adjust elbow joint and the spring-assisted joint supported in double ball bearing make maneuvering this arm a simple, one-movement operation. Position the arm exactly where you need it, when you need it.

FlexMax™ extension crane
FlexMax™ is an extension crane that can be connected to an EconomyArm or KUA extraction arm. Combined with an extraction arm, it has a radius of about 9 meters. FlexMax™ is the perfect extractor for those ”awkward spots” and for large working areas with a low ceiling. It is unmatched in its ability to reach to high positions and locations far from the arm’s mounting position. Very handy when it comes to reaching into and under work pieces, or when you need to mount the arm at a lower height. The crane consists of a frame with a metal tube with a maximum length of 4,5 m. The wall hinge provides utmost flexibility. The crane is provided with hooks for the suspension of e.g. a wire feeder, cables and tools.

Portable self cleaning fume extractor
Plymovent’s mobile filter units are designed to remove welding fumes on-site in confined spaces and spaces that are difficult to reach by fixed welding fume extraction systems. For example in the middle of a workshop or reversely, in an outer corner of a facility. This stabile mobile unit has an ergonomic handgrip and has four wheels, of which two swivel casters, to facilitate easy movement. The MobilePro is suitable for many welding applications such as MIG, MAG, TIG, GMAW, FCAW and stick electrode welding. Naturally Plymovent’s extraction arms, the 3 and 4 meter KUA and EconomyArm, can be attached to the MobilePro to reach the required length. The MobilePro has an integrated fan placed in a SilentFlowTM sound absorbing box. SilentFlowTM reduces both the mechanical and airflow noise of the fan by using an innovative air flow path, acoustic panels and a specially designed outlet. The MobilePro features a Ram-AirTM pulse amplifier, a powerful part of the back pulse cleaning system, that enhances the cleaning efficiency. Downdraft and backdraft work bench with integrated filter
The downdraft and backdraft work bench, DraftMax, is a combination of a welding table, and an extraction and filtration system. The compact downdraft table can be placed everywhere, e.g. inside a welding booth or connected to ductwork. The DraftMax is suited for many applications, like welding, grinding and plasma cutting. The extraction system removes fumes and dust directly from the breathing zone of the welder through the working surface and optional backdraft panel. The backdraft kit is recommended if you work with a heat source, like welding. Fast-rising welding fumes can only be captured effectively by a downdraft and backdraft combination. The integrated spark arrester prevents sparks from reaching the filter cartridges. The spark arrester is placed underneath the working surface of the downdraft table to ensure a safe workplace. Maintenance can be carried out from the front of the downdraft table. This makes it easy to replace filters and to empty the dustbin. Filtration takes place through two oval filter cartridges with a total filter surface of 52 m2. The filter cartridges cover a large filter surface, resulting in a long filter lifespan. This means even less maintenance and reduces all-over operational costs.

- DraftMax Basic is a work bench recommended for light to moderate welding and grinding activities. With the large filter surface, the filter’s efficiency is high and operational costs are low.
- DraftMax Ultra is a work bench fitted with a self-cleaning filter system. The effective cleaning system ensures constant and high filter efficiency. Cleaning of the filter cartridges takes place sequentially and ought to be operated manually. This unit is recommended for intensive usage. In addition, cleaning starts automatically as soon as the fan is switched off. It also offers the possibility of an automatic start/stop device making the unit even easier to operate.

Self-cleaning wall mount fume extractor
The WallPro welding fume extractor with automatic filter cleaning system is designed with the professional welder in mind. It is suitable for a wide range of welding fume and other dust applications. The WallPro can be used with one or two extraction arms and has a special PowerPlus model for very heavy fume conditions. It is built according to the latest insights in cleanable filter technology with a unique dust-free maintenance concept to provide safety for everybody; the welder, his direct environment as well as the maintenance engineer. The WallPro enables dust-free maintenance to minimize exposure during the most common service activities. Due to the shut-off valve between the filter and the dustbin, the dustbin can be emptied during operation. The filter can be replaced dust-free with the bag-in/bag-out system. But you don’t have to worry about this too often, as this unit has a long service interval.
The WallPro is adaptable to your application by a choice of three extraction power levels: Standard, Power and PowerPlus. This last level has one extraction arm installed. The Standard and Power versions are available with one or two KUA extraction arms. The extraction arms have a length of 3 or 4 meters. These arms can be mounted directly to the filter, or external mounted for a wider reach. An optional dustbin extension set can be connected to ease the maintenance.
The respective power levels are suitable for welding fume extraction from medium intensity welding to heavy fume applications:
- Standard for medium welding fume production.
- Power for medium to heavy fume production.
- PowerPlus for applications with very high fume production.
A safe working environment is provided due to the high efficiency PTFE membrane filter cartridge. Membrane surface filtration captures the fumes at the surface of the filter media and avoids penetration. This is known to be very efficient and the best suitable method for self-cleaning systems. The pressure controlled cleaning with the RamAir™ pulse amplifier ensures an effective filter cleaning at low energy consumption.
In addition, the offline filter cleaning function is standard available for extra high efficiency cleaning. Offline cleaning is cleaning the cartridge by back-pulsing with compressed air while the fan is off. This cleaning method is normally used in central filter systems and known for its unmatched cleaning efficiency and now standardly available on the WallPro units.
This filter unit is suitable for welding fume from steel, as well as stainless steel welding applications. The WallPro is in compliance with ISO-EN 15012-1:2013 welding fume class W3. In most countries, W3 is required to allow recirculation of filtered fumes from stainless steel applications.
HEPA filter extension is available. To meet local regulations/legislation the WallPro can be extended with an additional HEPA filter module (filter classification H14). This filter module is a universal, wall mounted unit with HEPA filter cassette and suitable for duct installation.
